Benjamin Palumbo

Benjamin Palumbo has had a long and distinguished career in American politics. He has served as an assistant to New Jersey Governor Richard J. Hughes, chief of staff to U.S. Senator Harrison A. Williams, President of US Senate Association of Administrative Assistants, the campaign manager for Lloyd Bentsen’s presidential campaign, the staff director of the House Democratic Caucus and the founder of Palumbo & Cerrell, a consulting firm in Washington, DC.  He is the past President of Rutgers Alumni Association of DC and has served as board member of the National Italian American Foundation, Children of God Relief Fund, Brady Campaign, Catholics United, National Press Club, Washington Caucus and the National Democratic Club. He is a graduate of Rutgers University with a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in political science.
