(Washington, D.C., June 28 ) The National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) and the City of Naples, Italy, are delighted to announce a groundbreaking collaboration aimed at conserving and promoting Italian and Neapolitan culture within the Italian American community. This innovative partnership seeks to strengthen the cultural and commercial exchanges between Naples and the United States, while reinforcing the bonds between the Italian American population and its Neapolitan roots. The agreement was signed by NIAF Chairman Robert E. Carlucci and Mayor Gaetano Manfredi at Naples City Hall, with the honorable presence of Tracy Roberts-Pounds, the U.S. Consul General to Naples and a special delegation of the NIAF Board of Directors.

The NIAF, renowned for its commitment to preserving and celebrating Italian heritage, will work hand in hand with the City of Naples to facilitate various initiatives that highlight the richness and diversity of Neapolitan arts, traditions, and history. Through a series of cultural events and programs, this collaboration will showcase the vibrant cultural tapestry of Naples, creating opportunities for Italian Americans to engage with their ancestral heritage.

Furthermore, the collaboration seeks to enhance economic and trade cooperation between Italian American entrepreneurs, business leaders, and the local business community of Naples. By facilitating connections and fostering relationships, this partnership will encourage opportunities for growth, investment, and job creation on both sides of the Atlantic.

“The collaboration between NIAF and the City of Naples represents a significant milestone in our shared commitment to preserve and promote Italian and Neapolitan culture,” said Robert E. Carlucci, Chairman at NIAF. “By showcasing the richness of Naples’ cultural heritage and fostering economic ties, we aim to enrich the fabric of the Italian American community and ensure that Italian and Neapolitan culture continues to thrive in the United States.”
