Actor Danny Aiello Hosts Dinner for the Earthquake Victims in Hoboken, New Jersey

(Washington, D.C.—April 17, 2009) Danny Aiello, Academy Award-nominated actor, Fortunato Di Natale, owner of Tutta Pasta restaurant, and the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) will host a benefit dinner to support the victims and their families who perished from the earthquake in L’Aquila and its neighboring towns in Italy’s Abruzzo region.

The event will be held May 5, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. at Tutta Pasta Restaurant, 200 Washington Street in Hoboken, N.J. Special regional Italian foods, wines and entertainment are part of the evening.

“NIAF is proud to raise funds and awareness for the victims who have suffered devastating losses in L’Aquila. Your donation will help rebuild their lives,” Michael A. Zampardi, NIAF vice president in the greater New York region, said.

Aiello and Di Natale will be joined by Mark Aurigemma, vice president of the Italian American Police Society of New Jersey, Marc Corea, president of Tiro A Segno, Alex Corrado, actor, and prominent Italian American business and community leaders at the dinner.

Immediately following the news of the earthquake, the Foundation established a special NIAF/Abruzzo Relief Fund to help the victims. Individuals, corporations and foundations who wish to donate to the NIAF/Abruzzo Relief Fund can make their donations online at www.niaf.org/relief. All donations are tax deductible.
