(WASHINGTON, DC – January 24, 2003) “Americans of Italian heritage join with Italy in mourning the loss of one of the world’s outstanding business leaders, Giovanni Agnelli. He was the business and social patriarch admired worldwide.
The National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) was proud to have Gianni Agnelli as an honoree during our annual awards gala in Washington, DC . He also joined NIAF in sponsoring U.S./Italy Business Conferences through his foundation.
Giovanni Agnelli left a unique legacy. We join with his family and friends in mourning his irreplaceable loss.”
