Garibaldi Society

The Garibaldi Society is dedicated to fostering a deeper appreciation of Italian American heritage and strengthening the cultural, educational, and economic ties between the United States and Italy. Organized under the aegis of the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF), the Society seeks to promote the rich traditions, contributions, and history of the Italian American community while enhancing bilateral relations between both nations.

Membership in the Garibaldi Society is open to members in good standing of The Union League of Philadelphia who share a commitment to the Garibaldi Society’s mission. Membership shall be limited to fifty (50) individuals. All Society members must maintain an active membership with NIAF at the DaVinci Council level.
