Elena and Stefano Romano were Italian immigrants who arrived in America with hopes of building a better life. Leaving behind their small village in Southern Italy, they carried with them memories of sun-drenched days and the aroma of home-cooked meals. Arriving in New York, they faced challenges but were determined to make their dreams a reality. Elena worked tirelessly in a garment factory, while Stefano took on odd jobs, all the while saving every penny for their future. Together, they navigated their new world, forging a path for themselves and their family, their love and resilience shining through every hardship they faced.
