NIAF Partners with ITA Airways to Launch Exclusive Offers for its Members

(WASHINGTON, D.C. – July 3, 2023) The National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) is pleased to announce its new partnership with ITA Airways, Italy’s flagship carrier. This collaboration aims to provide NIAF members with exclusive discounts when traveling between the United States and Italy. Effective today, the two dedicated offers currently include a flash promotion and an ongoing basic offer.

To kickstart this alliance, ITA Airways is launching a flash promotion exclusively for NIAF members and their companions. Members have access to a 20% discount on business class bookings (excluding surcharges and taxes) for select routes. The routes applicable to this dedicated offer encompass flights connecting New York and Rome, New York and Milan, as well as Boston and Rome. The sale period will last for three weeks from the activation and travel period will end on August 31, 2023.

In addition to the exclusive offer mentioned above, NIAF members and their companions will also receive an ongoing 10% reduction on fares (excluding surcharges and taxes) for all routes within ITA Airways’ network connecting the United States and Italy, as well as the entire Italian domestic network (excluding Sardinia). This discount will be available for bookings made until December 31, 2023, with a travel period extending until the same date and applicable to all classes: economy, superior, and business.

Current NIAF members can immediately unlock the offers only by logging into their NIAF account at niaf.org and clicking the login button in the top right corner to access the ITA Airways dedicated landing page. To view the discount, it is necessary to:

  • Always get access to the dedicated offer via NIAF account post login area (otherwise the discount will not be applied)
  • Accept cookies on the first visit to the dedicated ITA landing page when the relative window is opened.
  • Allow the opening of pop-ups; this way, the discount pop up is displayed and can be clicked so the discount takes over automatically during the booking process. If the pop-up is not displayed just refresh the web-view in the browser
