Calling All Student Leaders!
 
NIAF seeks 20 passionate Italian American college students to represent their schools in the 2023 NIAF on Campus Program. We're looking for undergrads who hold leadership positions in university Italian clubs and have a drive to celebrate Italian heritage. As a NIAF representative, you'll help plan engaging cultural events on campus while connecting with fellow leaders. NIAF provides up to $1,500 in funding per academic year so your club can host fun, educational Italian American activities for students. Applications are due September 15, so don't delay!

September 10: A concert of opera arias will take place in the Mansion of the Fairleigh Dickinson University. This performance will also feature the rose quartet who will accompany the singers, as well as a pianist, in singing classical arias from well-loved operas. September 21: NOIAW's Rhode Island Region invites you to "Anna and Laura Tirocchi: Premier Dressmakers of Providence", the exhibition dedicated to the two skilled seamstresses who immigrated from Italy in 1905 and established the A. and L. Tirocchi Gowns in Providence in 1911. The 5:30 p.m. presentation will include a special viewing of a number of gowns, and an elegant outdoor reception afterwards.
