NIAF Hosts Dinner for the Italian American Congressional Delegation
 
On December 13th, NIAF hosted its annual Christmas dinner in Washington, D.C., at one of city's most exquisite Italian restaurants, Fiola, a restaurant by Michelin-starred Chef Fabio Trabocchi. The private dinner was attended by several members of the Italian American Congressional Delegation including: Bill Pascrell Jr. (D-NJ), Rosa DeLauro (D-CT), Mark Amodei (R-NV), Virginia Foxx (R-NC), John Garamendi (D-CA), Jimmy Panetta (D-CA), Steve Scalise (R-LA), Brad Wenstrup (R-OH), Carol Miller (R-WV), Doug LaMalfa (R-CA), Andrew Garbarino (R-NY), and Mike Carey (R-OH). Also in attendance was former Labor Secretary Eugene Scalia.

The Wharton Institute for the Performing Arts in New Jersey is organizing a trip to Italy for their New Jersey Youth Orchestra and New Jersey Youth Chorus. The group will perform at the Vatican, one of the stops along the Bel Paese. They have raised $540,000 out of the $600,000 needed to make this trip happen. Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition' in Green Bay, Wisc.
 
Now through January 8: Michelangelo's famed frescos from the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City are on display in Green Bay. "Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition" is now on show at the KI Convention Center.
