While the gala remains sold out in the hotel’s International Ballroom, guests who would still like to participate in the NIAF 50th Anniversary Gala can do so by enjoying their dinner, while watching the gala via live streaming in the hotel’s Jefferson Room located on the Concourse Level at a discounted rate of $750 per guest. All guests dining in the Jefferson room can still participate in both the Campari Aperitivo and the legendary NIAF After Hours Celebration both being held in the Columbia Ballroom.

NIAF Launches Young Professionals Network

NIAF has launched the NIAF Young Professionals Network (YPN), a national community for Italian American professionals ages 21 to 39 designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders. The network aims to unite young Italian Americans in celebrating their heritage while advancing their careers through mentorship, networking events, and professional connections. To join, individuals can review NIAF's membership options and select "Young Professionals Network" during the registration process.

157th San Francisco Italian Heritage Parade

Oct. 12: The Italian Heritage Parade is the longest continuously running Italian American parade in the United States, drawing tens of thousands of spectators to celebrate Italian culture, tradition, and community in the heart of North Beach. Leading the way as this year’s Grand Marshal is Joe Mantegna, the Emmy-winning, Tony-nominated actor and proud Italian American icon. Parade will kick off at 12:30 p.m. at the foot of Jefferson and Powell Streets in Fisherman’s Wharf.

4th Annual Italian Legacy Lecture Series

On October 16 at 4 pm, the Italian American Museum of Washington DC will host its fourth Annual Italian Legacy Lecture Series, featuring presentations by notable speakers on our Italian American heritage, its past and our goals for the future. This year our special guest speaker is Anthony Naccarato, longtime supporter of Italian American causes, and who was recently elected President of United Seamen’s Service. His talk is called “Reflections of an Italian American.” Previous speakers have included Ambassador Luigi R. Einaudi, economist Vito Tanzi, and Anthony J. Tamburri, Dean of the John D. Calandra Italian American Institute.
