A Heritage Tour to the Region of Calabria

The National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) is pleased to announce the Region of Calabria as the destination for the annual heritage tour program. NIAF is offering numerous departure dates for this nine-day/seven-night tour starting September 2008 through June 2009.

YOU WILL VISIT
Altomonte, Capo Vaticano, Catanzaro, Crotone, Gerace, Locri, Paola, Pizzo Calabro, Reggio Calabria, Tropea, and Vibo Valentia

Participants receive round-trip airfare from New York JFK/Lamezia Terme/New York JFK (via Rome); seven nights’ accommodations at the four-star 501 Hotel in Vibo Valentia; seven buffet-style continental breakfasts and seven dinners with wine and mineral water included; all entrance fees; and transfers to and from the airport and hotel.

Three full-day and three half-day escorted tours are planned. A special lunch at an Agriturismo farm is also planned. An English-speaking tour director will escort each group.

The cost per person is based on double occupancy and depends on the month of travel. The tour program, which has been sold out every year for the past 10 years, is offered on a “first-come, first-served basis.”
