Artist rendering contest of NIAF Library – cash prize!
|
NIAF is preparing for a formal dedication of its new and future library at our headquarters in Washington, D.C., during the Anniversary Gala festivities in October and need your help. Our goal is to create a reading and research facility where scholars, NIAF members, students and the public can access a growing collection of popular, important and rare books relevant to Italian American experience and Italian culture. We also want the library to become a computerized research center where visitors can conduct genealogical and historical searches into their Italian heritage and history. Like NIAF, the library will be for everyone sharing an interest in Italy, Italians and Italian Americans.
We would like to add YOUR art work to our dedication! Two winning entries (one by an undergraduate and the other by a graduate student) will be placed on display within the NIAF Library. Both artists whose pieces are selected will receive a $250 cash prize! The competition is generously supported by the Victoria J. Mastrobuono Family.
