Official NIAF Statement: The National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) Mourns the Passing of Jeno Paulucci, Its Founder and First Chairman

Attributed to Joseph V. Del Raso, Esq., National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) President

“On behalf of the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) Board of Directors, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Paulucci family. Jeno Paulucci passed away on Thanksgiving Day following a lengthy illness at age 93.

Jeno Paulucci was certainly the catalyst for the organization and success of NIAF. True to his genius as a visionary, he provided the business acumen and financial support that propelled NIAF to its national and international prominence.

His commitment to his Italian heritage was embodied in several of the initiatives that he led for NIAF, including a voice for Italian Americans in Washington, D.C., a bridge between the United States and Italy relations, and his unwavering commitment to help those in need.”
