CONFERENCE: Discovering Italy through its Food and Wine

Join Italy Italy Magazine and The National Italian American Foundation as they bring Italy to Washington DC at a tourism seminar focusing on Italy’s wonderful variety of food and wines. The conference is free and open to the public.

Participants who register between 9:00 – 9:30 AM at the conference can win a vacation to Italy including air and ground transfers to and from the hotel. A special guided tour of the Vatican is also included. The winner will be announced at the event.

Journalists attending the conference are also invited by Italy Italy Magazine as their guest to a truffles luncheon. Media are asked to register by October 13 by calling 202/939-3116.

The Discovering Italy through its Food and Wine conference is presented in conjunction with the NIAF’s 29th Anniversary Annual Convention & Gala weekend. Immediately following the conference, there is a noon luncheon featuring Truffles of Italy from the town of Acqualagna, region of The Marches. Please join us later in the day from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM for Fiera Milano – MiWine Wine Tasting, in Ballroom West, featuring wine tastings and workshops which will allow participants to taste some of the best wines from the region.
