Package 1: Starter Family Tree

Consultation with an Italian ancestry expert
Review of what you have so far
Preliminary US search to find/verify names, dates, towns, spellings, etc.
Search Italian records, such as: birth, marriage, death, processetti/allegati
Digital copies of Italian records discovered
English abstracts of Italian records
Report of findings

NOTES: Includes eight hours of work by an Italian genealogy expert.

Expected results: A typical search of this size yields a variety of US records plus 2-5 Italian records, adding up to two generations to one branch of your tree. Learn interesting details that bring your family history to life, such as: the street your family lived on, their occupations, the church they attended, and much more.

Package 2: Standard Family Tree

Everything in the Starter Family Tree package plus 5 extra hours of work from your expert.

Expected results: This is where your family story starts to come together and you learn what your true Italian roots are. Add up to 2-3 generations to one branch of your tree, getting as far back as the 1700s.

NIAF Member Rate: $799 (Regularly $899)

Package 3: “All the Way” Search

Everything in the Standard Family Tree package*plus 17 extra hours of work from your expert (30 total).

Expected results: We take one branch of your family tree “All the Way” back with the Italian civil records (usually to the mid to early 1700s). Italy had a very dynamic history during these years so surprising discoveries are common.

*English abstracts are offered a la carte in “All the Way” searches due to the large number of documents discovered and the time involved in transcribing them from their original Italian/Latin.
