The Italian Language and Literature Department at Yale University intends to make a tenure track, assistant professor appointment beginning July 1, 2008; scholarship in medieval literature is preferred but applications in other areas are welcomed. Teaching will include undergraduate and graduate courses in literature and culture, and applicants should be able to contribute to an interdisciplinary curriculum that also includes history, art history, and theatre.
