My name is Silvia Scolaro, I have currently moved from Italy and am now residing in Pocatello, ID.
I have 5 years of teaching experience, both in Italy and abroad. I started teaching the Chinese language in my home country of Italy. In 2006 I went to China where I not only taught Chinese, but helped establish a school to teach the Italian language. In 2008 the school had more than 800 students and was ranked the largest Italian Language private school in China. Throughout my teaching career I have organized schedules, courses, and prepared teaching materials. I have kept in contact with the universities in Italy where I act as an examiner for the Italian Language Proficiency Tests at Perugia Foreigner University and Siena Foreigner University. I am currently enrolled in a master program at Ca'Foscari University, Venice, Italy for teaching Italian to foreigners.
