[Aati] Tenure-track position in Italian (University of Missouri) The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at the University of Missouri-Columbia invites applications for a tenure-track position in Italian at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August, 2008. The primary area of specialization is Film Studies. Secondary areas of specialization could include Medieval/Renaissance Literature & Culture and/or Italian American Studies. Qualifications: Ph.D. in hand prior to the initial date of appointment, native or near-native command of Italian, demonstrated evidence of excellence in research and in teaching language, literature and culture in Italian and English, experience in using and developing computer-assisted language instruction. Teaching will include undergraduate language, literature and civilization courses at all levels as well as courses on Italian Cinema crosslisted with MU Film Studies.
