Assistant Professor
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Italian. Native or near-native fluency and Ph.D. in Italian or related field by date of appointment are required. Applicants should be prepared to teach language at all levels and a range of interdisciplinary courses on topics in literature and culture from the Middle Ages to the present. Successful candidates must have a proven commitment to excellence in teaching and research, and interest in community outreach activities. Expertise in Italian Cinema is highly desirable.
