The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at the Catholic
University of America, in Washington, D.C. seeks candidate(s) for
appointment as part-time Italian instructor(s) for elementary and
intermediate level language classes for 2008-2009. Required
qualifications: M.A. or equivalent in Italian, native or near native
fluency in Italian and English, previous college level teaching
experience, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team. The
ideal candidate will have evidence of excellence in teaching in the
American educational system, experience using instructional technology,
and enthusiasm for teaching in a communicative, learner-centered
language program.
