ACADEMIC STUDY ASSOCIATES Fly to Europe for FREE this Summer! ASA , a leading provider of pre-college and cultural immersion programs in Europe is currently recruiting experienced and mature travelers to escort high school students on European flights this summer.
General Description ASA flight escorts chaperone a group of between 40-70 high school students roundtrip to Europe and ensure a smooth and safe travel experience for all. Flight escorts assist with student check in facilitate student orientation at the airport, manage the boarding and deplaning process, serve as an advocate for students related to travel issue with the airlines, and assist students with lost baggage and missed connections. Employment dates are the departure and return dates only.
General Qualifications
Candidates should possess excellent judgment and superb decision making skills. Candidates must be able to communicate confidently and effectively, with students and airport personnel, anticipate and troubleshoot potential travel issues ( i.e., delayed flights, extended layovers, lost baggage, etc) remain calm and professional under pressure, quickly build rapport with students and facilitate group development. Flexibility, patience, and a positive, friendly attitude required!

Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree
-Fluency in host country language preferred
-Experience working with high school students and/or leading group trips
Compensation
Round trip airfare from NYC
One night’s accommodation in host country ( day before return flight)
