Today and again on April 16, 2010, the
San Diego Italian Film Festival will screen Federico Fellini's classic "Amarcord" as part of its Italian Classics Series. The film will be shown in Italian with English subtitles.
The 1973 film examines Fellini's childhood memories of Fascism in his hometown of Rimini on the Adriatic.
The film will be shown at 7:30 p.m. tonight at UltraStar Cinemas Flower Hill; admission is $7.50. On April 16, admission will be $7 for a 7 p.m. showing at the Museum of Photographic Arts (MoPa) in San Diego.
