What information does NIAF collect?
NIAF collects information from visitors who register or complete an online form.

When registering on the NIAF website, as appropriate, you may be asked to provide your name, e-mail address, along with additional personal information. You may, however, visit our website anonymously.

What do we use your information for?
Any of the information collected from visitors may be used in one of the following ways:

We continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback received from visitors. As a result, we may contact visitors directly via phone or email to discuss any questions or concerns that a visitor may have.
To improve, increase and to retain memberships, NIAF may contact members periodically to see how we are doing and to solicit recommendations and suggestions for improvement.
In order to get a more accurate sense of the demographics of our members, where their interests lie, and through which avenues they've come to learn about the NIAF, we request personal information when completing an online membership form. This information is not shared with outside parties. This information is collected and used solely for in-house statistical purposes. Those not wanting to provide this information can bypass it altogether by calling 202-387-0600 and speaking with a membership specialist over the phone.

To send periodic emails

The email address you provide for membership and other NIAF event related purchases, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional NIAF’s monthly eNotizie along with other periodic updates and announcements, etc.

Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

How do we protect your information?
To ensure the safe transmission of your personal and sensitive information, NIAF utilizes a VeriSign SSL certificate – up to 256-bit encryption with a 40-bit minimum to secure online transactions.

Do we use cookies?
The NIAF website uses cookies only on third party software such as our Blog – Tutto NIAF. If you do not wish to receive cookies, you may set your browser to reject cookies or to alert you when a cooking is placed on your computer. You may also delete our cookies as soon as you leave our Web site.
